Time to catch up!

Ok, so obviously once we started getting ready to head back to Mass, we got quite busy and didn't really have the time to keep up with the blog. So, I figured it would be ok to do a little recap of our final days of vacation bliss.
Lena and Ashley got to go horseback riding, which was pretty awesome, especially since it was Ashleys first time! While they rode, I had a whole hour of just sitting, looking at the sky and my surroundings, and really enjoying the beauty of country and quite.
The next day, we went to Rabbit Hash. Its a small town in Kentucky with a population of 1 and a dog for a mayor! We have been visiting Rabbit Hash since we started going to Kentucky years ago, but this was the first year that we actually got to meet the mayor!
Our last day in Kentucky was a lot harder than I expected it to be. As we began the process of packing our things away, I started to realize just how much I was going to miss it. Even now, as I type this, my heart feels heavy with a longing for a different type of home.
But, just as it always will, life goes on and that's exactly what happened. With tears in our eyes, we said our final goodbyes and hit the road for home.
