Well, our adventures today didn't pan out as we had planned, but we had a great time anyway. As usual, we took some back roads to get to our destination and our first encounter was the lovely tractor I have attached. Its just another one of those things that is different about Kentucky. Our first intended target was the worlds largest coca cola memorabilia museum, which we learned has closed down. On the way, we drove by Fort Knox, which was pretty cool, but our phones went wacky and told us we were internationally roaming. Next, we went looking for a cemetery that is in the weird Kentucky book. After driving down the same road for 45 minutes, we decided we weren't gonna find that either. So we turned around and headed for Elizabethtown. We had heard great things about what the locals call "E-town" but unfortunately everywhere we tried to go was closed. So, we hopped on the highway and headed back to the house. If you ever get the chance, I highly suggest driving on highway 65 in Kentucky, it is absolutely beautiful. That was about the extent of our day, but even though we didn't get to exactly where we wanted to go, we still had a great day. Now its off to bed, and hopefully tomorrow will bring some accomplished adventures!
Till next time...
