Guacamole!

Well, didn't do too much today. Went over to Lena's uncles house to get some internet access, then came back to the house and sat out in the sun for awhile. I tried to get some color on my legs, but they are so white I think they actually repel the sun.
After that, I decided to take my first stab at making some homemade guacamole. It was a ton of prep, everything had to be finely chopped, diced or minced" but it was sure worth it, it came out great!
Then we sat around and let our artistic sides flow while we did some drawing.
Now I'm in the backseat of Lena's dad's truck heading into town. I'm not sure what's worse on these roads, driving or being the passenger. Of course anyone who knows me, knows I'm not really good at being a passenger ever!
Its all good though, off to Dairy Queen to get some ice cream. That's another thing different about Kentucky, no Friendlys ice cream! But I can settle with a blizzard for today.
Well, we are just coming up on the railroad tracks that go down main st. In town, so I must sign off. Hopefully our adventures tomorrow will be blog worthy!
Till then my friends...

  1. It's nice to here the relaxed tones in your posts. You may not feel like you are doing much
but would you rather being running from site to
    site and going crazy?
Part of the reason we take vacations is to regroup, relax and regain our sanity.
    Just keep enjoying yourselves.
    Luv u
    Mom

PS Looks like you put a lot of work in the guacamole.
