Now that's what I call Dinner and a Movie!

Yesterday we had a great time going to dinner and a movie. The best part, was that it was all at the same place! We found this place in Lexington called Movie Tavern. It is a wicked cool place where you literally order and eat your dinner while watching a movie! We really had no idea what to expect, but it sounded like fun, so we picked a movie and headed that way.
When we arrived, it looked like a regular theater from the outside, but when we went inside, the differences started to become clear. The first thing we noticed was a full bar in the lobby, where one could enjoy a cocktail either before or after the movie. Next, as we entered the actual theater, we noticed that each row had a tall thin table, with lighting. We picked our seats, with menus in hand and almost immediately a server came to take our drink orders!
As the previews began, we pushed the call button at our table, and the server once again came to take our dinner orders. A few minutes after the movie had begun, our food was delivered right to our seats! It was a really cool experience. It would be awesome if we had a Movie Tavern closer to home.
As we dined, we watched the movie Hangover 3. It had its funny parts, but it definitely wasn't as good as the first two. The food was ok, but if we were to go again, we would probably just chose to have appetizers and snacks. The best part was the experience of the whole thing.
Just another thing that's different in Kentucky. Now, we are off to start our adventures for today, but that will be for another post.
