Biscuits and gravy

Well, we didn't check in yesterday because there wasn't really much to write about. It was 95 degrees, hot and miserable! We were surprisingly motivated in the beginning of the day. By noon we had already gone to the store, planted flowers, and made lunch. For us, that is one active morning!
Of course, with the nasty weather, our motivation didn't last for long. We did take a drive a couple towns over to get some drinks at Sonic, but that was the end of being outside!
Today was a much more eventful day! We traveled over to Frankfort, and did a railroad history tour. It was very interesting to learn a little bit about how the railroads shaped a lot of the things we take for granted today. Even our time zones were changed to fit the railroad schedules!
Ok, maybe it wasn't the most exhilarating thing we have done, but it was a good time. After that we walked around downtown Frankfort, which had some cute little shops.
We ended our day having dinner over at Lena's uncles' house. Another fun filled relaxing day.
Oh, we almost forgot to mention the weather! When we woke up this morning, the sun was shining, but within half an hour, there was a crazy downpour. Then, suddenly, the sun was shining again! It doesn't sound very exciting, but that was one heck of a storm! It was worth it in the end, because after that rain, the hot weather was gone and we had a breezy beautiful day.
Well, hopefully tomorrow will bring some more adventures!
Till then...

Ps. We had biscuits and gravy for breakfast the other morning. Yeah, really random, but it was awesome! Take care friends :)
